Capacity Building

Our experience with other international institutions:

  • BMUV financed projects

    One of our co-funded capacity building projects dealing with climate change adaptation services is the so-called "transforming the industries towards eco-friendly manufacturing" in Southeastern EU / Croatia. In cooperation with MUEG GmbH we have been granted the support and funding approval of the Federal German Ministry for Environment, Nature Conversation, Nuclear Saftey and Consumer Protection (BMUV) for this project. The Croatian Ministry for Energy and Environment was the beneficiary and partner of the project. The Chambers of Commerce of Germany and Croatia were partners of the energy and material forum.

  • EBRD financed projects

    We review, design and ensure the compliant purchasing of EBRD financed projects in cooperation with local corporations and institutions on behalf of public authorities / project beneficiaries and EBRD. Among our references we count the "consulting services and support of a Regional Waste Management in Serbia".

  • IFC financed projects

    We review, design and ensure the compliant purchasing of IFC financed projects in cooperation with local corporations and institutions on behalf of public authorities / project beneficiaries and IFC. Among our references we count the "PPP Project of Tirana/Albania".

  • GCF financed projects

    We design and review concept notes for the application and conduction of GCF financed projects on behalf of accredited entities and public authorities / project beneficiaries. Among our references we count the "reducing CO2 emissions and pollution" in Morokko on behalf of the Morokko Government and GIZ.

We convened a group of 11-52 international and national experts to work in capacity-building-projects. They start working on:

  • as-is- and scenario-based evaluation of the infrastructure and capacities, financing, operation and communication;
  • design of the future solution (technically, legally, financially, operationally);
  • design and preparation of public hearings and communication as well as awareness concepts;
  • conceptualization of regulation, legislation and funding as well as financing frameworks;
  • knowledge transfer and support for the ministries and local authorities.

The finally step and the wrap up of our projects usually is a technology forum, bringing all engaged Stakeholders of the private and public sector at local, national and international level in one room. Initiating and moderating the dialogue between them, that has to be continuing as the adaptation takes off.

References and project magazines are available upon request in the German and English language.
