asset- and non-asset-based cooperation with energy corporations

A non-asset-based cooperation does not require investments in assets by the service corporation.

The energy industry is a carbon intensive industry under pressure. Most of the corporations have already invested in the decarbonization of their energy portfolio. This sector is one of our core industries for which we have established own and dedicated structures and assets, conducted feasibility studies, designed renewable power plants, RDF and WtE plants in different European Countries.

We are able and capable of supporting energy corporations towards allocation of PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements) with the manufacturing and industrial sector, allocation of Delivery Agreements with qualified and certified energy producers in EU Countries, decarbonization of existing fossil-fired plants, etc. as well as sustainable back-up and storage solutions. We also provide expert and Third Party opinions to banks and insurance companies. Based on our broad network throughout Europe we are able to identify and contract energy supplying capacities based on the load curves of the industrial corporations and those of the energy sector.

We cooperate with energy corporations based on a service or works contract. If our clients decide to establish a Joint Venture or PPP we occasionally become also part of the shareholder structure (EPC), depending on the specific investment and Country. If you are interested in learning more about our work and cooperation with us, please use the non-binding-request-form and select your field of interest.

  • Investing in assets

    An alternative to the non-asset-based cooperation with us is the asset-based cooperation. In this case  an energy corporation plans to invest in assets, such as H2 generation within a combined power plant scheme (PV, wind, biogas, WtE, RDF plants), storage and back-up capacities. In an asset-based cooperation we usually are the supervising authority or the EPC contractor. More information are available upon request, please write us an email "asset-based cooperation" by using the form.

  • Decarbonizing existing plants

    • We provide expert opinions, engineering and advisory services for energy corporations interested in analyzing the modernization of existing and/or old fossil-fired power plants;
    • We conduct feasibility studies on the selection of the BAT- and ETS-compliant techniques on the market (e.g. fuel-mix based on gradually switching technologies);
    • We conduct EIAs (Environmental Impact Assessments) for the modernization of existing and new power plants;
    • As EPC contractors we are able and capable of planning, building and transferring entire power plants to our clients throughout Europe.
  • Allocating PPAs and energy sales

    • We support energy corporations building up energy partnerships with smaller and/or specialized energy producers in Europe or abroad to allocate the renewable energy and diversify our client´s portfolio.
    • We provide PPA-Allocation services for our energy corporation clients with industrial corporations - supporting their growth or expansion strategy.
    • We seek reliable and competitive energy companies and/or projects for our clients to invest or collaborate. We are able and capable of screening, evaluating and pre-negotiating supply contracts on behalf of our clients.
    • We provide the energy corporations with expert or Third Party opinions on market specific developments on legal, policy, capacity and competition level.
  • EU schemes and H2 purchasing

    • Based on the latest developments on EU-Level we are supporting energy corporations towards capacity building for sustainable H2 at competitive price levels, structuring and anticipating the auction programs.
    • We are investing in own sustainable H2 generation in Europe. Part of the H2 is planned to be exported to Germany and other EU Countries.
    • We are interested in delivering H2 to energy corporations.
  • Increasing total efficiency of plants

    We analyze and design solutions to maximize the total energy efficiency of power plants and of all forms of produced energy (electricity, heat, steam).
